Staffordshire Safeguarding Children Board Welcomes New Member

Staffordshire Safeguarding Children Board are pleased to welcome their new police representative Assistant Chief Constable Becky Riggs. Becky takes over from Temporary Assistant Chief Constable Jennifer Mattinson who attended the Board since September 2021.

Becky has 29 years of policing experience and has worked in five different forces (Dorset, Hampshire, MPS, City of London and now Staffordshire Police).

Over the course of her career she has worked in many different roles and Becky has a strong Public Protection and Partnership background, as well as being an experienced senior investigating officer in serious and complex crime and counter terrorism. Her recent post was Detective Chief Superintendent, the Head of Action Fraud and National Fraud Investigation Bureau (NFIB), at the City of London Police. Becky is now the assistant chief constable overseeing the specialist crime portfolio which includes Public Protection and Major Crime.
