Welcome to the summer edition of the Board newsletter. This edition starts a regular feature with the Boards Independent Chair and Scrutineer – Ian’s Blog. We also have learning from recent Child Safeguarding Practice Reviews and an extended time for all those working with children to have your say by filling in the practitioners survey. Dont miss this opportunity. There is also an opportunity to explore ‘Why language matters’ when dealing with malicious information plus lots more.

This month we lead with the news that Working Together 2018 is undergoing revision and consultation, leading to opportunities for everyone to have their say in the development of a new version of this statutory guidance during the consultation. We also have news about learning from current Child Safeguarding Practice Reviews and an opportunity for all practitioners to ‘have your say’ about safeguarding children across the county plus much more.
