Learning from reviews have identified a need for increased understanding and confidence in the role our colleagues in Probation levels of risk and specifically the meaning of Person Posing a Risk to Children (PPRC). The Board have commissioned a series of four free training briefings on the role of Probation service work. the level of authority they hold and an explanation of Person posing a risk to children.
The Probation Service in conjunction ith the Board are also working on additional formats for increasing understanding and confidence. One of which is an organic frequently asked questions for practitioners which will include questions raised in the training briefings below, however, we are calling on practitioners to send in question to enhance this FAQ to suit your role. Participants must have undertaken Level 1 Child Protection training before attending this course.
An overview of Probation service work, the levels of authority they hold and an explanation of Person Posing a Risk to Children (PPRC).
