Staffordshire Safeguarding Chidlren Board are offering a Free awareness lunch and learn for everyone who works with children and families in Staffordshire.
The event, hosted by Clive Cartman-Frost, Head of Access to Services and Family Support, will outline what has changed at your Front Door – Staffordshire Childrens Advise Service. The benefits of dedicated Social Work Consultants in the new front door to allow for restorative conversations to take place at this early and critical stage – high challenge high support conversations with our partners that really put children’s needs at the centre of what we do. The aim is to reduce paper referrals and encourage phone calls and conversations and to improve lines of communication between ourselves and partners.
Further awarenss will also cover the Multi-agency Referral Form and its role in the new Front Door model. Come along and ask questions so you feel you understand this service and how it works with you.
There will also be an opportunity to learn more about the revised Threshold Framework and what the changes mean.
