An Introduction to ‘Whole Family’ Working
Staffordshire County Council are pleased to announce the launch of a new training course which will be available for our multi-agency Staffordshire partners to access free of charge.
An Introduction to Whole Family Working will complement the Early Help Strategy 2022-2027 which emphasises the importance of whole family working.
Who should attend?
- In your role, do you work with children and families?
- Does part of your responsibilities include providing help, support or advice to children and their families?
- Have you considered yourself before to be part of that Early Help system around Staffordshire’s children and families?
If you answered yes to the above, it is very likely that you would be providing an element of early help to our children and families. Within the training we will explore the notion of whole family working, the importance of working whole family with links to learning from examples where this has not been the approach. We will introduce some principles and practical strategies/approaches designed to work with families from first contact and beyond in a whole family way. This will include resources to support professionals working with families at that early help stage to hold conversations, have a consistent approach and confidence in evidence-based practice.
There are numerous dates available until March 2025 which will be a mixture of face-to-face and virtual.
All face-to-face sessions will be held at Entrust, Riverway Centre, Stafford. The centre has access to free parking and tea & coffee will be available on arrival.
